Assistant Professor, Executive Director of the Institute for Emerging Careers and
Director of Outreach and Grants

After Dr. Bruce Strom completed his BGS, he pursued a MA in Adult and Community Education from Ball State University, an Advanced Certificate in Human Resource Development from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a Ph.D. in Administrative Science from Universidad Empresarial de Costa Rica. He is currently an Assistant Professor, Executive Director of the Institute for Emerging Careers, and Director of Outreach & Grants for the School of Business at the University of Indianapolis. His advice to General Studies students: “Pick classes and/or minors that prepare you for graduate studies.” He chose General Studies because he had credits from several institutions that he earned while serving in the military. He was able to use those credits and complete his degree in one year.
