Thank you very much for taking
the time to visit this part of the CLN website. Support from friends, alumni,
faculty and staff are important expressions of belief in our mission to deliver
the university’s assets and benefits across Central Indiana in ways that
significantly promote the region’s economic, social and cultural progress.
We are proud to support more than
800 adult students studying to earn their General Studies degree so they can
achieve new personal and professional goals. Research on the impact of earning
the degree consistently shows that 30-35% of BGS graduates pursue graduate
degrees. Many others report personal satisfaction from completing the degree
later in life as well as promotions at work or pursuing new career paths. More
than 8000 adults enroll in our continuing education courses to pursue personal
interests or professional development in hundreds of courses each year.
The CLN promotes lifelong
learning so our scholarships assist learners pursuing selected continuing
education (noncredit) programs as well as General Studies degree students. These
established scholarships are expressions of belief and memorial gifts by several
families as well as other friends.
We invite you to help us achieve
our mission through giving your time, talent and treasure. Please feel free to
contact me about ways to provide support. There are many ways to make a gift or
a pledge. This website tells you about them.
Sincerely,
Khaula Murtadha
Associate Vice Chancellor for Lifelong Learning
